Burn't oil smell in park or reverse but no leaks detected.

2010 model year, 430,000 miles.

After running 10 miles or so I get a smell in the cabin like when oil or transmission fluid isdripped onto something like a hot muffler. However, there are zero leaks when I check pavement I've parked on for a while. Seems like it is at its worse when I put it in reverse. It's important to note the transmission was over-filled by at least one quart (but the tranny runs fine).

Do you know the difference of fluid smells when burning? Oil and trann y fluid do not smell the same. Neither does the ptu gear oil. Sorry i cant be there to smell it for you to tell you what it is. My best guess would be the ptu vent pushing some fluid because its probably caked up inside
