V8 SHO Press Pack - Blast from the Past analog style

Shortly after I bought my '99 SHO, my buddy who works for JPL and previously was an EE working for Ford on the EEC-IV engine management software told me that he got something from Ford about the "new" V8 SHO that was coming out and if he found it, would I like to have it. I said: "Sure, why not?" Well, I came across this little gem (my buddy isn't the only one that uses the archeological filing system) in my bookshelf wondering..."I wonder what THAT is???" Apparently he found it, and gave it to me, and I forgot about it. Well I decided to share the contents in all it's pre-release splendor. There is even a VHS video in it (sorry, no working VCR to digital facilities here...otherwise I'd digitize and upload it).

If anybody is wondering, NO, I don't want to sell it. It will probably go to the next owner of my '99 SHO after I'm done w/ it. Still driving and enjoying that V8 rumble! In the meantime, please enjoy!

Well, here's your chance to find out...I did a full scan of the send a kit to a friend card, as well as the report card evaluation, and the greeting letter (redacted to keep my buddy's personal info confidential...interestingly he's still at the same addy from 1995 until today, and he's been doing the same job at JPL for 40 yrs)

I bought this kit too by curiosity. I asked to a friend to transfert the VHS film on a CD for posterity. He returned at me with the CD laughing a lot... I understood when I saw what was on the CD...

Affordable luxury lol. Yea its a very quiet running engine, especially when the sprocket goes at a redlight. Its so quiet and smooth like its not even running. Now thats luxury
