Livernois just announced and released there performace fuel injectors for the 2010-19 sho/3.5ecoboost. Interested on thoughts about it from here and if anyone is planning on trying them. Right now they are in my eyesight and my plan for a upgraded fuel system would be the XTREME-DI XDI-EVO HPFP, hellcat lpfp, and the livernois injectors.

Did they learn how to properly tune an engine yet? Probably not
I’ve heard the stories but i’ve been running a livernois tune for a year and haven't had issues, (although I did buy a new sct tuner device to switch to GH once I install my downpipes) so I don’t think livernois is as incompetent of a company as some say. What Injectors do people on here run with then?

Just looked at them 1750cc for $1749. Still underperforming compared to the XDI 2000cc injectors. Says Nostrum makes them which is probably decent. TBH though LMS has bitten so many people in the ass with their trash that these could be the best thing since sliced bread and give me a morning BJ everyday and I wouldn't be interested.

Try another tune from GH or AJP with your current configuration and you will know why LMS sucks.

Giant waste of money. I had their HPFP and stock injectors and was already at the edge of what the transmission can reliably handle on E30. For 1600 bucks plus install cost I'd want to run noticeably quicker times, but that's just me.

Ok I have the tuner and just paid for a tune giving my current specs, was planning on waiting until I get my downpipes in to change tune but ill give it a try now. Do you know if I want to update my tune in the future do I have to pay GH again?

You need to ask Matt this question. Do your part and get him a log, if I remember he will do free revisions for 30 days but don't quote me on this. Just to give you an idea on LMS I put out 375 whp on a mustang dyno. A month later all things the same I put out 415 whp and 50 tq more on an AJP tune on the same dyno. The shifts as sooo smooth too. You do need to flash your car back to stock with the lms tuner. Then you can use the sct to flash in the new tune, you do not need to start it in between. Good luck and I hope you have a fun learning experience. And make sure your battery is in good shape before you flash it or put a charger on it when your doing this.

Other than the shifts being harsher than I like, my tune with them has been fine for several years now. I realize there are better options out there but I don't race my car and didn't want to buy a whole new tuner and tune.

At some point in the future I will try GH or AJP.

the only regret you will have when doing it is that you didn't do it sooner. And your 6f55 will be a lot happier when you do.

XDI 2000cc at OEM pulse width. Xtreme-DI is where it’s at. Don’t forget XDI makes their stuff, Livernois just rebrands….one is a leader while the other is a follower. A day late and dollar short for LMS. With LMS you’re up $hit creek without a paddle….quick. Once you leave the realm of that basic tune file and ask more from them you’ll find out you should have left a long time ago. And we’ll all be here to say, “Told you so”.

The real question is.....do you need injectors. Upgraded HPFP, upgraded LPFP, and upgraded turbos, with stock injectors will make more power then the 6f55 will handle. Also get the LMS tune out of your car.

The XDI injectors made a big difference for me during the short period I used them. I ran a crazy time on the street with no nitrous using the XDI injectors. 11.28. Previously I’d need a 75 shot of nitrous to do that, on a prepped drag strip nonetheless. I’d say I’ll never use stock injectors again. IMG 3041
