Is it possible to just add the lowering springs to the rear since it is more elevated than the front?
Yeah most definitely don't recommend that

How much fender gap are most people with the H&R seeing? I have the LMS (H&R) and I think mine looks lower than most of the pics I am seeing.

Depending on how long you've had them, there are two different types of H&R springs. Currently they only offer the "Sport" springs (Black in color), but if your springs are before 2017, there is a potential that you have the SUPER SPORT springs (Blue in color) which are an extra half inch lower. I have the Super Sports on my car.

Mine are from the previous owner. They are Blue but I thought I saw an LMS logo and that was why they were Blue. I will have to look closer and get some side pictures.

Hmm. Funny you mention the 205. That's how I actually arrived at the SHO.

With what seemed like a decent increase in size, I thought a 2016 C450 (below) would be a suitable family sedan for the wife; a slightly smaller E-Class.

Over time, not so much ... but what to get?

Question was, how can we match the power, still have all wheel drive, but a larger cabin and trunk for road trips? Enter 2016 SHO.

Ironically now it's my daily driver, still under 32k miles somehow, now she's driving a 2017 Explorer Sport. Which some say is a Taurus Wagon on stilts. Same platform right?

And yes, the 205 evolution is a proper one that enhances and upgrades the platform in a noticeable way. Just like the 203-204. Good choice!

Yep. The SHO is a great platform. It will do what most of the owners want it to. I don't have a family or children, and I want to go a different route.

100%, dude. And regarding the W205.......GET IT! Wasn't for me being such a NA V8 lover, I'da had a current gen C63 a long time ago. I still dream of a C63 AMG Black.

Well, much more tame than my 2009, and some say it's some it's so steady & planted (as a RWD, 500 hp compact sedan ) largely due to some AMG-Petronas F1 technology in the chassis & suspension.

Almost AWD-ish with front end grip and planted tail; ****, sometimes I can't even do a quick lane change in the 2009 without a little fishtail.

Anyway, enjoy! C63 is nice, but C43s are quite nice, as well. If only they'd offer us a wagon.:(

Ciao, brother.

Dumb question, but would the Super Sports be marked S/S by any chance? I bought mine new 1 year ago and they are blue and marked S/S

Buy from Lee at Ortiz, keep the money in the SHO family. I think they give a discount for SHOforum people. Lee is a great guy and always willing to help and explain things.
