What did you get for weight difference between the two crash bars?
It's not in my hands just yet, however I can almost guarantee it weighs probably a couple lbs more. The OEM one is just formed sheet metal and is stupid light. However the space up front is going to be huge and also going to modify the bumper so we can get some more airflow on the intercooler/radiator.

what is this material?
It's extremely heavy duty 1 5/8" chromoly tubing. It's going to be extremely heavy duty for the job. Not trying to mess around with a key aspect in a front end crash lol. Gotta protect this new motor I got HA! It's leftover pieces from a cage my buddy has been building

Ah, probably so. Didn't see the attachments quoted just saw there was attachments there. It's like a plastic cardboard. Can buy it at your local crafts store.

Just watched the YouTube video. Looks great. One small suggestion, have your fab guy slot the mounting holes horizontally in the brackets to allow for a bit of fine tuning of the fitment.
Yeah in the video I talked about how he only had the crash bar on hand so for what he has it came out awesome.

This sheet metal will add weight! However I'll just take it away from other spots. Been working on the car the last few days but haven't given many updates just cuz I gotta have at least one secret right?

Looks like backwoods still material. Needs more copper!
I can't be treating my car with respect and nice materials anymore than absolute necessary. Don't want it thinking it's going to have a nice life

Block back to me from CSS. From shipping to return a little over 3 weeks and about $1350 all said and done. $895 for closed deck, $200 for decked surface, $245 shipping. So not bad. Plus it looks pretty. IMG 20201119 181837 017
