Yes. You could run a stock 14 inch rotor to keep costs down.

Don’t forget the MBC too... that’s where most of the pedal feel comes from on the 2013+...

And yes, there are a ton of threads about it, I would dig around.

We do have to also keep in mind that for price point we are comparing the Aero6 kit to the TCE which uses the Aero4 pistons. @aaron240 and I did some number crunching and if we switch to the Superlight 4s we can save another $600 off the current price for the 6s. The Calipers are almost $200 a piece cheaper and for drag racers the BP10 pads would be half the price of the BP20s I run.

Can we get a broken down list? And pictures of said parts?

After the popularity of this thread and all the interest it sparked iv spent the last several evenings and early mornings crunching numbers, doing calculations and really researching a cost effective way to incorporate larger 15" rotors to my Aero6 6 Piston Wilwood Kit. This missing piece of the puzzle was making several members question the kits validity as an actual upgrade. In an effort to bring more performance and value to the community iv finally found a way to incorporate a cost effective OEM 15" rotor into the kit instead of the SHO's 14" front rotors or Wilwood 2 piece 15" rotors which were aprox $1000 a pair. The snapshot below is a parts list from Summit Racing Online with the cost associated to each component of the Wilwood Aero6 15" Big Brake Kit my company S.E.P. is bringing to market.

Big 15" Brake Kit Pricing:
Wilwood Aero6 brake kit components and 15" Rotors: $1150
Schwartz Engineered Performance Caliper Adapter Brackets: $600
Kit total cost shipped: $1750

Note: 1.The red wilwood Aero6 set of calipers is $180 more than the anodized grey color and by utilizing the grey colored caliper it will shave $180 off this list price from summit.
2. This Wilwood Aero6 15" Big Brake Kit from S.E.P. is aproxx $800 cheaper than TCE while also utilizing the preferred 6 piston calipers instead of the Aero4 4-piston calipers while also utilizing oem 15" rotors instead of $1000 wilwood 2 piece rotors. This design consideration and implementation will make replacement rotors much more affordable to the customer when that time comes to do a brake job on their vehicle.



The only other kit on the market is TCE and they do not use a 6 piston caliper they utilize a 4 piston caliper. Please see below.

Nah, just went from caliper upgrade using stock rotors that heat soak to I can get calipers and parts at an even better cost through Lee and now there is optioned out actual bigger rotors. Brackets still pricey tho improvements is improvements

See this I can get behind, especially given that replacement rotors won't be insanely expensive down the road.

Personally, though this is still pretty far down my priority list.

To be fair, the SHO community would not even know what these part numbers are or if they were compatible with the 2010-19 SHO if it wasn't for my research, design, and engineering efforts/time spent on this platform improvement. My time is valuable and deserves to be recognized as well being financially compensated by a portion of each kit sold for my engineering efforts. I am not greedy nor am I trying to price gauge SHO enthusiasts. I am trying to improve the platform and make performance upgrades more financially accessible to customers than the current available offerings.
