I recently got a 2013 SHO to play around with I love the car and have had a lot of fun with it so far but I was looking to get it tuned and wanted to know what you guys think is the best tuner for an everyday driver

You might want to research the problems that LMS has created for a number of EcoBoost owners before you trust them with your car. Way too many tried and true options out there for us: Unleashed, Gearhead, Ortiz, AJP just to name a few...I got my SHO a few months ago and plan on tuning it too. I’ll probably get a LMS Tune.

I use Unleashed, tunes are $150 but you need a device to load the tune in the car. They also sell a package like LMS, I think it's a bit cheaper. Living in South Texas with our brutal heat I've been running tuned with no issues on the stock thermostat. Bought a 170° one and never installed it. Sold it for what I paid for it. But ***'s advice is solid as well. Gearhead is well respected with lots of tuned cars out there kicking ass problem free.I was going to go for LMS bcuz they are only 10 min away from me. If they aren’t reliable, what’s the best value tune. LMS quoted me $500 for a tune and like $1100 for tune cai plugs and a thermostat.
What kind of device is it? Do they sell it or is it one of those devices mechanics carry around.I use Unleashed, tunes are $150 but you need a device to load the tune in the car. Run until you're ready to call it quits. Done. Dead. Kaput.
Which is exactly how your motor will end up ironically if you do not need the advice from myself, and many, many others.
Dear God have some respect for your SHO. Steer clear. Don't be tempted by their close proximity to your residence. I assure you, based on personal experience, they will lie to your face (repeatedly at that) telling you that they are the best (at everything) and blah blah blah, and that any problems you may encounter are entirely your fault and have absolutely nothing due to with their horse$h!t craptastic business practices.
You've been warned. No one here, or elsewhere, will feel sorry for you, for failing to heed said warnings. Just. Look. Elsewhere. NOW!

Warnings heard loud and clear. Guess I should look into gear heads then. I was hoping to get a tune but wasn’t too sure if it’s safe to drive with a tune alone or if I’ll need other mods like the 3bar and plugs
I'm studying tunes and will OBVIOUSLY be going with one of the top 3 that are currently recommended on this forum. I've been to Gearhead and Ortiz sites but can't find anything for Brad at AJPturbo. I reached out to him last week at
[email protected] after finding that contact info on the other forum but he must be busy. Can anyone confirm this address? Any help on any site info for him? Thank you.
Ghost cam......but why?
Crackle pop bang? The uh....Honda forums are over there --------->
And if you really want the bang bang, keep going until you land in the Nissan *** of gold.
The SHO was never meant to be full riced-out. Or maybe it was and ford missed that market....
