Yes, tried from 28psi to 22psi in 2psi increments. 24 seemed to be the best (thats what got me the 1.91 60ft), but still got wheel hop if I launched too hard.

Honestly sounds like my last outing to the drag step. First run was a 1.67 sixty foot and as prep degraded I could not get can in the 1.6 area for the life of me no matter how many changes I made. I'm going to say the prep wasn't there when you went back and the track was fairly slick. A lot of cars running or just a poorly prepped strip can do that. How's the car feel from a dig on the street? Also do you use traction control or not? I've always had my best times with traction control on but results may very

Advance Trac was completely off on all runs. Interesting that you use traction control... I'm coming from drag racing mostly RWD cars, and it's usually always recommended that it be turned off. It usually kills timing and spark if it detects wheel spin and blows the launch. Will have to try that next time... unfortunately, the drag strip is pretty much closed for the season after today. Guess the experiment will have to wait until March.

The track prep was decent, but it was extremely cold today (high was only 40 degrees), so everyone was having a problem hooking. There just wasn't any heat in the track to stick well, no matter how much prep they threw at it.

Will try launching on the street next time I do the E30 mix and see what happens. I don't run it all the time, it's kinda like my "race" tune.

Thanks for the input! Always great to hear the opinion of the guy who is really pushing this platform at the drag strip.

The drag strip hasn't opened back up here yet. March 6th and 7th are the first days.

I still have to put my MSD coils in I bought over a month ago. And get more E85 (it's not available in my area). Work has been throwing a lot of OT at me over the last few months and I haven't had any free time to do prep work to the car.

The wife hasn't said anything about the mounts being overly harsh. The initial vibration has definitely smoothed out, and I feel she's pretty much forgotten about them being there. Will have to track test them again when I get time to truly see if they were a good buy or not.

I wrote in another post. I have almost forgotten about my AD mounts. My car is super smooth with very little vibration.

what durometer bushings are those do you guys think? not at all trying to compete with someone else selling them but instead of spending $200 i'd rather just fabricate them for myself because i have all the tools and equipment including jd2 bender and notcher that i use already for a different side hustle. psbtw does anyone make a k-member for the sho and would it be helpful to have one? i'm only running the lms 91 tune and i can already feel i need to at least do the mounts... the first few shifts can be excruciating when you're givin'er

Installed the AD mounts today. Basically an easy install. Used a variety of 3/8 sockets and extensions. Used a 12 inch pry bar to coax rear mount out. Loctite blue for bolts. Hardest was farthest bolt on rear mount trying to get leverage with extension for 76 ft lbs torque but got it. Sometimes being left handed and 72 things are trickier. Did not test drive thought beer was more important.

Mounts are very nice.

Good chance that is just the lms tune. Mine slammed thru the gears with their tune too, seems like some tuners do that to make it feel like it has more power.

Going to test it out today. Was getting kind of a clunk after giving it power and letting up, will see if that goes away. Car only has 12,750 so it seemed like a torque clunk.

Yeah as you saw the stock mounts arent the best. However, beware the vibration for the couple hundred miles is kinda harsh. However it really lets up later. Also by chance are you tuned?

Yes, LMS 91. AD mentioned in his instructions to have them bump up the idle by 50 rpm. So will test out for a bit and see if that should be done.
