Anyone ever repainted their SHO?

Just wondering the price of repainting my car. I’m nowhere near this, but curiosity has got me here. Anyone?

It's been 23 years, but I had my 89 repainted in base+clearcoat black (Spies Hecker (sp?) paint), by the local Audi+Porsche dealer bodyshop in Louisville when I lived there. Very good job, and it was $6k. Probably $10k today. It was black, though, which is tough to get right.

I'll be having a lard portion of my car painted at my body shop this week after hail damage. For about 65% of the car i'm already around about $5.5k, not including if belt mldgs or glass breaks coming out. Worse case scenario you could easily be upwards of $9-10k depending on what breaks coming off.
