Not sure how much more power you've added with your mods but I'm telling you I can't spin the tires WOT from a stop with ESC off. I also have the PP option. Gotta factor in other factors like temperature and road conditions. I'm talking dry pavement with temps above 45 degrees. Absolutely zero complaints with these tires! No pun intended![]()
I didn’t know the p zeros where run flats, are you sure?
Anyway I’m talking about a good road on a hot day being as I just did this a month ago on the Sho. To be honest I didn’t just ditch the p zeros cause they didn’t hook from a stop light but also because I’m in Michigan and needed a all season tire anyway. I didn’t think the p zeros where a bad tire till I Change them for the Michelin AS-3. It was then I felt like “omg what a difference” and only after the swap did I feel like the p zeros where junk at least in comparison. And to be fair “junk” is a little bit much but with all the cars I’ve owned and own now I can’t say I ever remember being able to feel such a difference in a simple tire swap. I put the p zeros on my 12 Sho that I plan on selling that had the cooper zeons on it, I’d say there about the same. My 16 Sho, 15 mks, and 13 mks all have the Michelin mxm4 from stock on them all 3 about 35k miles, never really impressed with them at all but never hopped any of them up in power either. For sure all 3 of these will get the Michelin as-3 when it’s time for tires no doubt. Same wear rating as I recall or close and very close in price. Really not sure why Michelin even makes the mxm4 still with the as-3 being so much of a better tire. Lol.
