SSM mounts?

I keep reading in the SHO FB groups about SSM mounts. Hard to know what is accurate and what isn't because after all it's FB.

Some say they produce +kr and some say they actually slow the car. What's the truth about theses mounts?

I have the mounts from Anthony, no knock. I've had them installed for about 3 months now, 50-60 runs down the track with them. I'd like to switch back to stock just for comparison's sake on the same day, but I like how the car feels too much so I haven't been able to bring myself to do it so far.

Called SSM. Very helpful and open. They acknowledged that the +kr issue is rare but can occur and less so on the later model one mount cars. They also indicated that there is some vibration but can soften in a minor way over time as the bushings wear.

I think I'm going to pass for now. Really like the comfort of this DD car but still have all the tune gear thats on it which doesn't affect the ride.

They are selling the DiCunzolo mounts as their own, or the other way around as some people claim. You already have the better mounts in my book.

Hence why I left FB a long time ago.

IDK, I had a machine shop look at my stock mount and look at pictures of SSM and Dicunzolo's new suppliers mount.
They said they can make either style for $100 for both mounts. lol so maybe ask your local machine shop, all they needed was distance between bolts and bushing width. Now I'm wondering if they can make other upgraded suspension pieces. I need to just buy a Porsche and get it over with.

I mis read. They are double the $100 price quoted from your machine shop. If they can fabricate them, powdercoat them, add grease fittings, and pre grease them, and deliver them to the your door, then you win. Bet they can't.

SSM mounts are the original dicunzolo mounts after he updated his to combat the kr issue with better quality bushing, grease fitting, better powder coating, better welds. So SSM while cheaper is a less quality product, but does relatively the same thing. Personally I run Anthony's most recent mounts and love them. Just my two cents
