H&R Springs Installed

I have recently installed a set of H&R Springs on my 2015 SHO and am pleased to say, the results are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Impact
I measured from the middle of the center cap to the fender rim.

• Before
  • Front: 15 1/4"
  • Rear: 15 5/8"
    
• After
  • Front: 14"
  • Rear: 14 1/8"
    
• Front drop: 1 1/4"
• Rear drop: 1 1/2"

Pros

• Dramatically reduced front end lift on take off which results in a stronger feeling acceleration. I can't say for certain that this improved my 60' time, but damn it sure launches hard now.
• Significantly reduced front end nose dive under hard breaking.
• Strong and aggressive stance. No more "ass up" look and car feels very stable. Feels more like a true sports sedan now and really compliments the factory SHO performance improvements.
• No binding or rubbing on my stock rims/tires after 500 miles.
• Superb feel on the highway, feels much more responsive and stable at 70+ mph.

Cons

• Ride can get a bit stiff over poor roads like we have here in MI. Can get a bit jarring so I compensate and just slow down.
• Need to go slow when turning into driveways and the like. This isn't really a con, but you need to be careful. You could rub if you get to aggressive.

If you got them just installed put like a couple hundred lbs of stuff in the trunk to help them settle in! They will drop a hair more once settled

OK, was wondering what you were comparing the rough road to One of these days, I'd love to find the spring rates for PP vs. non-PP stock.

I was able to get it all done for $280 out the door with alignment. My brother-in-law runs the shop so I was gifted with the "family" rate. Your mileage will vary.

For the money...the H&Rs on the PP struts are wonderful. My car handles very good for a land yacht. Ride is firm, however not uncomfortable. I run my tires at 34 psi and overall I am extremely happy. However the SHO isnt my daily and I might feel different about it if it was.

I went from a completely stock SHO to what is in my sig and I dont think I could daily it especially with the trans/torque mounts. I love the car as it sits now because I drive it like I stole it, but that is limited.

I held off for a while because of the commute. It is a noticeable difference to me over the stock PP suspension but the better half didn't notice, maybe she just isn't in it enough.

Mine is non PP’ish. when I took the rears off the tag on the spring said, SHO and PP. So I’m wondering if there is any difference in the rear between PP and non. I put the PP struts on with the H&R’s up front, just incase.

Same here, I really want the H&R springs, but my wife says the PP suspension is already too stiff and makes her stomach upset.

I have a bad back and have always drove Lincoln’s till my SHO. I’ll be honest, it’s definitely a more stiff ride, but I don’t find it to be excessively jarring and mine haven’t even settled yet. And, aside from looking incredible, the handling difference for me far outweighs the extra bumps. I daily mine 70 miles a day to work too.

Also, I may be wrong but I thought the H&R’s had the same spring rate as stock.
