Lmao that's such a crazy leap to make. The man who has pushed his car further than anyone else had a failure using a company that has shown they don't care about our platform and don't work to solve errors, and you think that means yours will fail?
With my luck, yes!:)

After BPD's experience I have decided I am not modding. If a built motor can fail, that doesn't bode well for my non-PP with the non-PI pistons. I might add a CC at some point.
We have no clue what caused BPD's engine to fail unless I missed an update. I have run the most aggressive '10-12 93 tune from Livernois for almost 40k miles with 0 issues of any kind and have about 92k on the odometer.

They did have their recent V11 shift issue that they handled f'ing horribly IMO, but engine failures are not common with them. The only real SHO engine failure I recall (besides BPD) is someone trying to run an E30 blend on a 93 tune and it didn't work out so well even when LMS advised against it. This was a couple years ago.

I'm very happy with my LMS tune and my car runs great. However, if I were to start over again, Gearhead has been proving themselves to be pretty darn solid and they are laying down fast times. Their auto-octane tune is perfect for those wanting to keep it simple. AJPturbo also has been doing great work and I wouldn't hesitate to run him either. As a matter of fact, I'd get tunes from both to see how the compare.

Long story short, tune it. The day you finally do is the day you'll kick your own ass for not doing it sooner.

LMS gets you in the door...AJP and GH gets you to the finish line first....ZZi gets you to the repair shop first. Is this politically correct?

Currently on a 1200 mile road trip with my GH tune. Will be posting fuel economy for the trip if anyone is interested. The speed posted is 11 mph over than actual.

Sure it is.....around 140 is the sweet spot on my SHO. Everything gets really quiet, really smooth, and well you know. Really starting to think I could upgrade the SHO and try a Cannonball run.

I’m thinking about debadging and doing the same. It’s incredible how people get out of your way when they think a cop is coming at them. Just need a hidden blue light bar in my front grille

Honestly, people do move and police don't look at me twice even going to 15 to 20 over. With black rims, and paint matched chrome.....game over.

They made every excuse for the people with their tune to buy the upgraded HPFP. When people refused a couple other tuners started calling LMS out on the logic behind their tunes. I feel LMS's answers were dodgy and shifty. I assume they went back and revised V11 and dialed back the power to recover the fuel pressure they seem to not be able to find.

Just got my tuner/tune in the mail, taking the SHO to the dealer to have the PTU fluid changed out, '17 nonPP with ~35k, hoping they'll be able to catch any issues if there are any, and warranty any parts that need fixing before uploading the tune. Pairing the tune with a new 3bar, reische thermostat, AEM air filter, and SP-542 spark plugs. Nothing too fancy.

Definitely reduced power. I couldn't use it after feeling the power of the v11

I just gave the new tune a shot, it's been nearly a year since I've been tuned and before it was on stock wheels/tires. It felt slower than I remembered, but at the same time the wheel/tire weighs 70# a corner now so I knew it'd be slower.

Two other SHOs I found heading southbound. Didn’t even wave at me

Those wheels and tires are though.

Nice mileage throughout the trip. Not bad for 4800 lb pig, cruising at 80 mph.
