So I have gone down the rabbit hole and have a question for the guys who have done this.
Car: 2013 PP with LMS 93 v11 3 bar plugs and 160 stat with K and N drop in stock exhaust.
Question: Will PPE catted down pipes gain me anything at the track? other than my wallet being very light.
ALSO I ask LMS if they offer a tune to support this and was told "YES" is this a different tune then the one I have now? LMS at this point has been AWESOME to work with on the customer service side as I just wanted a plug and play tune.
I did find the thread about the pipes from long ago but it never really answered this question.

Thanks GUYS!

PPE catted pipes are a .1 to .15 gain in the 1/4 generally...

LMS does have a separate tune for down pipes, but you don’t need it for catted DPs.

6 weeks, very nice product I'm impressed for sure. Going to take them down to the dealer and have them put on next week. Bad part is now all winter long before we get some track time. might take them to the dyno just for fun in a few months.

FWIW When I had the stock pipes I burned the grass in my Dad's back yard, with the new pipes that I did get coated I no longer burn the grass. Not sure how much heat it keeps in the pipe but it must help some.

P.S.
They really are some well done pipes don't you think, Almost everything you buy today is disappointing on some level but there pipes exceeded my expectations.
