That story about the 300 hp version just won't die! Truthfully, 300 hp is nothing for that engine. But, then you have to put on accessories, and meet EPA emissions and mileage standards.

The 3.4 in Tim's car already puts out 300 chp. IIRC, it's 247 whp, and with an 18% loss for the MTX, puts it at 300 chp. And that's at the limit of traction, even with a Quaife. Three of us drove it at the strip, and nobody could get it to hook up to run a 13.
Well, he'll definitely be passing me, then, regardless of driver. lol I'm probably 70hp shy of him.

Was it the rear ended Gen 1 at the Dallas convention
Yes, this is Kelvin's old car that had been rear-ended sometime before the Dallas convention. TexanTony fixed the damage on the rear so the car looks great now. Had to fix a few issues it had, as well, and added some more track mods to the car. It's solid as can be. **** of a car. After looking at the prices of other SHOs selling on here, I'm actually thinking I'll have to post it for $5,300 instead of $4,900. I'm about to post it up here in a second.

Had fun at the convention! Thanks Ron for the room Tuesday night and thanks Kirk for putting up with my being late to the track after not accounting for traffic. And thanks Toolman for the floor jack when my jack killed over. Wish I could've stayed longer--had to get back to Dallas by 7:30. Barely made it driving way too fast. lol
