New here and just looking for advise

Have you contacted Ford customer care/customer service at Ford Motor company? Not the local dealer, the main office in Dearborn? I saw somewhere that they usually have a better attitude towards customers. I can't remember where I saw the name and number, but I know it was on one of the forums. I'll look around and post it if I find it.

Yessir. All I get are people who don't speak English really well adn I have an open complaint from April 8th .no pushback yet. Called a couple more times. No resolution .

New info. The other dealership didn't change the other oil filter for the turbos and both are stopped up there . The change of the inline filter is part of the repair and it wasn't done. The turbos arent warrantied bc they failed due to oil starvation. The service manager from the current dealership says the other dealership didn't do the required steps for the repair as stated in the repair manual. So I have that going for me and he said he would update the notes to reflect the other damage. Now to figure out why I have so much metal in my oil. If not from the new turbos bc they had no oil....then the old one that failed?

I don' know the micron rating of the in line filter for the turbo suply, but you have to remember: oil pump, oil filter, everthing in the engine. When you have metal in the oil, it' usually pushing contaminants out and to the pan where they can be filtered.

The filter can miss some stuff I guess or bypass. But then the source of the contamination has to be found.

Off topic, but I have wondered if these filters can CAUSE turbo failures by restricting oil flow. I think there are some other O.E.M.s with filters that have turbo starvation from them. Maybe suberu? I don' remember.

Yes, Subaru had addition screen filters on the oil feed lines that would have sludge build up/wear metals clogging them up even with appropriate oil changes and restricting flow enough to **** turbos.
