Installed today, new plugs gapped at 30, 3 bar map sensor, Catted down pipes (pain in the ****!) K&N drop in filter, and Livernois tune. I can't stop smiling when I drive it. Well worth the head ache. Check out the pictures of my intake. It only had one hole for the map sensor. Probably made on Monday or Friday. lol. I drilled and tapped a new screw.

Really? I thought it wasn't a big deal but drilled and put a screw just because I thought they were supposed to come with 2. Would have saved me at least half hour on the intall. lol

They probably would do fine with no screws. Any time I remove mine for cleaning I have to twist and pull pretty forcefully to remove it.

Nice!

I've just got the drop in K&N and Livernois v12 on mine. Was wondering how much of a difference the 3bar might make...

Big enough difference that you should get one. Ridiculously easy to switch it out and bang for the buck you can't beat it.

Usually it's one the best $47 dollars you can spend.. takes 5 minutes to swap out..

Thanks guys

That's what I was thinking, the install seemed real simple and it's cheap. The only thing that worries me is that shouldn't you change out the Tstat too? Now that seemed a bit more involved to me...and don't get me wrong I really want to learn, but with it being a brand new car and me being not very mechanically inclined I'm a little intimidated.

You don't have to do a TS switch... call LMS about what options you have from a tuning perspective.

I recently put in a 3Bar in my car, I don't have the thermostat yet, but I still got updated tunes for the 3Bar. Power feels the same, but way smoother through the powerband!
