Appreciate everyone's input, I ran LMS on my 2011 and I now run it on my 2013 love it and have never had any issues with it just wanted to see if anyone had experience with any of the others....I realize u can only push a motor with stock components so much before its not safe

Crazy I been a customer since July of 2016.. I'm trying at this moment to get ssi to give me a comp tune. Out the box Ssi is quicker. Right now want to do a dialed in comparison meth e blend on the track. Ssi vs unleashed. So ssi no way works at Torrie's speed and takes awhile to get your tuning done. That being said I will compare ssi trumpx vs e20wm unless ssi works all day on my data (does not really tune for meth) but saiz he can so at this point there not on the same planet.

SSI has a history of disabling the knock sensor(according to those that have run SSI tunes)... keep an eye on it.
.....and disabling knock sensors, will (among other things) equate with the never desired "SHOboom" which SSI is also well known for.

SSI said they save the "SHOboom" tune for special customers that want it all....

I have ssi loaded in my 2015 sho pp, and absolutely love the characteristics of the car. Normal driving is great and wot is incredible.i have Had 0 issues.

I don't have an SSI tune.. but I will say this... any company that bad mouths every other tuner on their companies main webpage... not just once... but consistently, is in my opinion, not a good company... AND if you do a search on blown engines and SSI there are a lot hits. Not so much with LMS, LET, and Unleashed.

Evidence at hand would suggest perhaps trying someone else...

SSI just blew a rod out of each side of the block in a SHO a couple weeks back.

Funny, as I read this we're just mopping up the last 2017 Malibu with the 1.5l turbo engine in the fleet for-#17019-01: Customer Satisfaction Program - Stochastic Pre-Ignition (SPI) Causing Cracked Piston - (Mar 2, 2017) .

My point being, nobody has more information and data available than the OEM manufacturer and even they make mistakes from time to time. The CSB above involves a PCM re flash fix and full synthetic oil change. Fully knowing this, I'm most likely going to go with a tune from one of the "L" company just looking for moderate gains on my daily driver. The thing is, whoever you go with is just an educated guess based on whatever information you can find but ANYTIME you monkey with the vehicles calibrations YOU accept the risks. I'm not versed on performance tuning and what items the tuner has at his disposal to tweek, but if the people that designed the car can make a calibration error that causes piston damage, it's just a crap shoot with any tuner. If it's true SSi turns off the knock sensor output, that's a big failsafe gone bye bye. I'd ask the tuner everything you have concerns about, then make a decision based on what your ultimate goals are and the depth of your pockets.

Hmm... I wonder if all those F150 guys who sent in their $1,400 to SSi via Friends and Family Paypal as requested by SSi for the Bell Intercooler ever got their money back... Someone working for the company stated that several sent in the money... but when it came time to buy the Bell IC SSi no longer had their customers money... just disappeared....

Doesn't sound like a company I would want to do business with.. even to test their tunes...
