Does anyone know how to run a non-LMS methanol kit with the LMS stage five tune I ordered an AEM kit because I want to run 50/50 instead of 100% I don't want it to be flammable with a baby. I can also return the kit I ordered and build one if anybody knows how or has a write up or does it matter if I run 50/50 instead of 100%? I have a 2013 non-pp with 34k miles. LMS intake, 3 bar, mycal, tstat, spin tech axle back.

So you might want to talk to LMS about that... I was under the impression that they will only support their meth kit which requires a high concentrate of methanol....

I would think they are using the methanol to compensate for lack of fuel if they require a high ratio as stated on their website site...

Meaning... I would not run their stage 5 with a ratio of meth/water lower than what they are tuned for... That would be a piston on the ground moment...

Besides, I am sure LMS does not have that many customer cars running stage 5... So being as you probably don't have an invoice with them for their proprietary meth kit, they may not even provide you the stage 5 tune..

Your best bet is to purchase a sct tuning device and go with Unleashed... Torrie will tune for 50/50 mixes..

Good Luck!!!

Yeah that was my next idea now I'm just looking for a used SCT that I can trade my Livernois tuner for or I might just go with the livernois kit

If you have the Livernois tuner already, I would buy the LMS Meth kit. I would imagine you would spend roughly the same amount of money if you simply bought the LMS Meth Kit vs SCT tuner, tune, and meth kit.

Actually yes. Last time I check the kit was $1200. Now it's just over $900 which is very reasonable. Going to try to find a used takeoff alky kit first.

We do NOT support 50/50 kits. As well with that, the only way that we can remotely tune for methanol injection is with our Alky kit.
