2011TAURUSSEL
2014 SHO LMS Stage 1 V10
Greetings,
Sorry I have been off the gird for a while but getting set up in DFW Metroplex
I am doing some leg work for now and with any luck I might be introducing a new forum member to the SHO section either today or end of week.
Subject has found a 2015 SHO Platinum White Performance Package. He is aware about the obvious disclaimers from FMC about the summer tires and to be honest is kind of shocked that they would even consider ordering a P/P for the Pacific Northwest Region with summer only tires. Anyway their loss, his possible gain.
Here is the question, does anyone have any recommendations for All Season tires for a SHO Performance Package for the Pacific Northwest Region. Metro/urban area, combination of city/rural year round driving. Looking for good ride, minimum noise, good wet, snow, ice, traction, handling etc....The usual check list items but without sacrificing the elements of the P/P. I would personally like to recommend the Pirelli Cintaurato P7 all season based on previous experience with my 2013 SEL in the Northeast. Good ride, handling, wet, snow, ice etc... My reluctance with the recommendation is I have not heard of any reviews for Performance Package owners.
He knows obviously they will be 20's but can anyone confirm that although summer rated the P/P 20's are still the 245/45/R20 as in the same 245/45 dimensions as the NON P/P 20's?
He is looking for good handling, wet, ice, snow, rain, dry, with not excessive road noise and a good solid all around all season handling tire. I suspect he will dust off the OEM tires for Summer but want a decent set for the winter. Any recommendations to get started with?
