Thanks. I hope I got a good one, I guess time will tell. I have to give credit to the dealer, I know they put a new battery in the car but when I test drove the car it no cold air. They said they would look at it. I told them I would take it if the air was fixed and the price did not go up by much and would understand if the sent it to auction with its low price. Come to find out the compressor was bad and the sales person said it was about $800 to fix which they fixed and they or Ford ate the cost. The previous owner put 2 new F1's on and new brakes at 75K in April.
Stopped by one of my local Ford dealers yesterday. Trying to find some rims for winter and asked about changing the fluid for the PTU. He said he never heard of doing it and would not do it. I also asked what was next service he said plugs and I asked if they correctly gaped them, he stated no just open the box from Ford and install. I don't think he realized he just lost a potential customer. Two other Ford dealers within 10 miles.
For pics nothing special to show and last fall I took pics(first time since the early 80's of one of my cars) of my 04 Phaeton that I took delivery in ABQ NM and shot some pics of it in Yellowstone and might have jinxed the car. The car had over 20k in problems undisclosed by the dealer and in NM if they have over $1,500 in undisclosed body work the dealer can buy the vehicle back or pay triple the amount, he bought it back. Even with the problems that car it was fantastic and wish I could find another one.
