Hi Guys--
I have a 1991 MTX with 112k miles on it. I had it New York state inspected last week and it passed with no problem. The tech who inspected it noted that the cooler (looks like a little radiator) pictured below had an oily substance all over it and, thus it had collected a lot of road crude.
This part is located on the driver's side, way down near the bottom of the engine compartment, off to the lower side of the radiator.
The inspection was done at the Ford dealer. The tech says he thinks it may be some kind of aftermarket cooler, but I have owned my SHO since it was brand new and have all the service records. I don't recall, and my records don't show, any cooler being installed at any time.
Can anybody identify this part?
How about a part number?
Would it still be available?
Thanks
