Hello,

I am pretty psyched. I have a 2013 SHO and am getting the full LMS mod set up and tune installed today which includes 3BAR, Therm, Catted DP's, Corsa Cat Back, H&R Springs, Plugs and Windstorm CAI. We are going to do the 93 tune with pre and post dyno results. I am pretty excited to see how she sounds and performs and am hoping the driving difference is notably more exciting.

If anyone is interested I will post the results and some photos. Not sure I can wait to pick her up...

Will do...I am a bit nervous that my expectations will be too high and I will be disappointed... I know a car THAT heavy can only move so fast but I am really looking for the fun factor to be raised a bit more.

definitely.. I am also curious as to how the springs are going to feel and look...I already know I am going to have to be more careful on the daily drive to avoid obstacles that I already scrape...the trade off in looks is worth it IMO though.

I realize it may be a while but please let us know if there are differences in tractability during normal driving. This would be from a tune prospective vs suspension changes.

Thanks, Bret.

Will do. I plan on driving her a lot this weekend. I haven't read that under normal driving circumstances that I would notice any glaring issues. I do assume that with TC off and with the pedal down that there may be some slipping...at least I am hoping there will be!

Only from a launch, and in my experence only when boosting the car too high before the launch (dont go over 2000 RPM). Otherwise I never see tire spin, the beauty of a AWD car. Spinning aint winning.

I definitely want to know about the ride quality on the H&R Springs!!! I installed a very mild "OE" set from H&R on my 2010 Audi and it was pretty bad, had like a bounce / pogo affect! I guess performance shocks help with this and apparently our SHOs have performance shocks so hopefully there won't be much bounce with these springs. So I'm going to either buy or not buy them based on your opinion! ;)

haha... there is a lot of pressure... I have read a few reviews on the H&R's and specifically on 2013 SHO... from everything I have read the ride is stiff and a but handling is better and pogo effect seems to be non-existent. I will definitely let you know.

You'll be quite surprised in the gains from un-tuned to tuned...looking forward to your thoughts

Update. I was able to get through about half a tank of gas. The most noticeable change is the way the car pulls at lower rpm's. The torque is definitely increased at the lower end. There is a small rattling noise only at low speeds and high rpm's when i hit WOT. I don't think it's knock, it sounds more like a heat shield or something. Other than that it drives like a brand new car. The springs are also noticeable. The car not only looks better but feels better.

What exactly do you mean by the springs are noticeable? Does that mean you feel a bounce or pogo affect on bumps or dips in the road?

Noticeable in a good way.. no bounce or pogo effect but the it's a bit stiffer...less roll. I prefer this to stock for sure.
