Hey guys just a quick question. I did a muffler delete and had some tubes and had my buddy weld my tips on on piping i bought from auto zone. I love the sound but the drone isn't that bad but it does get annoying at low rpms. Is there any way to kinda lower it down? or if i buy the dynamo axle back will it help with the drone? I really don't wanna buy a cross exhaust. also will it make a difference if i weld them together? or not cause i just have exhaust clamps on. Thanks everyone!

I installed a pair of Different Trend 409SS mufflers. Very similar to Dynomax and just $100 each. No drone and still a little louder that stock and can still hear the turbos spool when loaded up.

Welded, it was included in the price. Also I meant Magnaflow. I really like them.

I love it! Not "droney" and growls a little when stomped on. I reused the factory tips and used High temp black paint to make them look original.

6 cylinders are tough to get a decent sound out of, but I liked the Magnaflow out of the 3 I've heard the best. I was disappointed that my '10 didn't have a stainless system and I planned on putting the Magnaflow on when this one was trash, but I've got a '15 on order. Anyone know if it's still got a regular "steel" exhaust system?

What exhaust do you plan on installing on the '15?

I wasn't planning on doing anything on the exhaust for the '15. I was saying if I needed to replace parts of the exhaust, then I would look around. I only plan on tires and driving lights for the '15. BTW, T-4 days for the build!

LOL! That's funny because I had the exact same thing happen to the stock exhaust on my old Trailblazer SS. It was like one of those magic never ending hankies...you just kept pulling it out the tailpipe and it just kept coming and coming.

Just purchased a Dynomax so can't comment yet about its sound and performance. Bought one because of the price I got from http://4wheelonline.com/dynomax.250595. I saw mix reviews about the Dynomax but I'm on a budget so this exhaust is enough for now.

UPDATE!!!
I picked up my '15 on July 20th. I had BF Goodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2s put on before I took delivery. I had to buy them myself, so I got these Goodyear F1s to sell. I love it, my '10 didn't have the back-up camera. It was an early build, August '09. You really need it though, the Taurus has a poor rear window view. I really like the seats, My Ford Touch and the SHO wheels. I also got the PP with this one. I broke it's cherry in October when I was driving through some road construction. A huge piece of asphalt hit the leading edge of my hood. I was thinking it would be much worse, but it's a dime size dent and a minor scratch on the chrome part of the grille. I'm still in limbo with a damage claim with the state. The state's actually pretty cool about working with me on it, it's the construction company that's being a ********. The collision shop I'll be using said they would mount the driving lights since they'll have the bumper cover off to change the grille.

Here's how I want to mount the driving lights. Just have to figure out where to put the switch.
