Hey guys I have a 2011 SHO with pp and the lms stage 4+ tune, I want to do a few more things to it but it just rolled over 66,000 miles, was curious if any of you have high mileage shos and if so how they are holding up. I've had a battle with myself the past few days on whether I should look for another with lower mileage or keep mine, I use redline oil every 3,500 miles and just did a tranny flush car shifts great even under heavy throttle and everything else is running great as well....WHAT SHOULD I DO!??

Rolling 70k in my 2010 and I just added methanol injection! I was thinking about waiting and going to a 13 with lower miles, but my car is running fantastic, and honestly really want to push this power train and see how long it'll last.

If you haven't already, definitely change the ptu fluid and may as well do the rdu as well. If you have no bad symptoms right now I wouldn't be too worried. What mods do you have in mind? I have a tune, 3 bar, exhaust, cai, methanol, and upgraded plugs running 20+lbs of boost. More than I think most really need and I daily drive my sho everywhere (20k miles a year) and have yet to have a problem.

My car just hit 87000 miles. It's a 2010 I bought new. Great car, no issues and I have followed manufacturer recommendations since new except I change the oil every 5000 miles and I use full synthetic. IMHO no worries on these cars as mileage builds up.

Turned 108,000 on mine the other day. Running flawlessly. No tune on it, bone stock, but that's only because of lack of time. I'll get to it!

So far the only issue is brakes. I think the booster must be failing because after accelerating if I back out of it and hit the brakes the pedal is hard and there is almost no whoa!! :eeeeeek: I have a new booster, just have to install it. I'm also going to try out EBC's slotted rotors and red pads. Not too much more than the stockers and supposedly less dust. Might throw on a set of MGP black and silver caliper covers, as well.

Good to see positive replies for high mileage SHO's! Had 28k on my 2014 when I got it 2 weeks ago, was hoping to see comments like this. :)

Just purchased a 2011 a couple months ago. 103,000 miles. Runs and looks great. Getting ready to tune and mod it.

2010 76,000 miles. Runs like new, new tires, resurfaced rotors, new plugs and general maintenance. Plus, one blend door activator and a few warranty cosmetic items. QS ultimate every 6000 miles (twice a year).

I just traded my 2010 PP with 167,000 miles. I changed oil (synthetic) regularly, and didn't have any repairs that took days to complete. last service I had to go back to dealership because they were out of rear shocks... they said the police cars were using shocks. Traded SHO on a 2014 MKS Ecoboost.

2011 stock just turned 111,000. Was around 102K when I bought it, no major repairs on the carfax, but it appeared the oil was changed regularly at a dealer every time. No problems since I've had it other than the girlfriend removing the side mirror with a cement pole. If anyone is curious, a new mirror is almost 500 bucks. She thought the radar backing up would tell you if you were about to hit something.

Just rolled 90k this weekend. Bought in December 2009. A few of the common early build problems but runs great. I'd buy another in a heartbeat although the new Mustangs get my hear going too.

I gave up my Coyote Stang for the SHO, they run nice but AWD rules in Winter!
Yeah. AWD is nice in winter but I grew up driving Mustangs and other RWD in the winter so it doesn't bother me too much. If it's too bad, I can always take the truck. Lots of time to make a decision as the SHO is running awesome.
