I think you did pretty good too. When you compare your results with the magazines or OEM published results there are some things you need to consider:
Heat, most published results are optimized for temperature. If it was not cool when they ran, they apply a correction factor. Lots of ice used on the intake prior to a run also they try to do runs in the cool of the morning.
Altitude, what is the altitude of your track. What is the track correction factor for sea level?
Gas. 10% ethanol which is just about the standard fuel everywhere contains 10% Ethanol. A gallon of Ethanol has fewer BTUs than a gallon of gas. Therefore by volume a gallon of gas with 10% ethanol can do less work than a gallon of gas with no ethanol. Sure the octane goes up with ethanol but unless you have a CR north of 12:1 you're not taking advantage of it. To get maximum power from your gas make sure it is pure gas.[/

I run at twin city in louisiana I think the track is around 75ft. I didnt ice the intake and I was running 10% ethanol gas.
