first off the quiet engine is a nice commodity, second- where the intake goes to the fender is protecting it from rain, water and excess dirt 3-the cold air dwells underneath the fender and if you have ever heard of installing a "hot air intake" I am surprised.

Most of these points you posted have been covered a not a problem in this thread.

Honestly, I removed the whole outer silencer box and my car already had a k&n filter and I LOVE the way my car sounds. Having a quiet car is boring. HahaI

I actually like my SHO to be the quiet, relaxing car, but then floor it and listen the secondaries.

for a loud car, I'll just go take the Stang for a drive ;)
