So i think its time to get back into a SHO
I've had a 90 , 91+ , 93 ,94 ,98

We bought the speed cause at the time ford did not have any turbos car yet

There is not a "set" price that the A-plan gives. It varies by the options, features, packages, etc on the car. The dealer should have no issue showing you the A-plan price on their invoiced paperwork. If they don't want to show ya, go to a different dealer.

The A-Plan price is a Ford pricing offered to Ford Employees and selected supplier employees. Each Ford vehicle invoice has a stated A-plan price, however not every dealer will honor that price. This especially applies to limited production or high-demand vehicles. Good luck! :salute:

Fixed ;)

I'm glad your wife is Ok, but it sucks the Speed6 is totaled.

I can provide you with A-Plan pricing in a PM if you are a Ford employee, retired Ford employee, Ford employee's son, daughter, sibling, parent or grandparent. Otherwise I can provide X-Plan Pricing (not quite as good as A, but still pretty good).

IIRC, D-plan took off around 5K on mine.

See if there's any rebates on the Taurus, we were able to stack a 2k rebate on top.

A plan is $100 less than D-plan.

X-plan(supplier/friends&family) is the plan that's approx $100+/- from the invoice price. A-plan is the lowest price offering Ford offers. It's the same purchase price that any Ford employee or executive pays. (I worked for a Ford dealer for over 20 years) :salute:

I sent him the pricing via PM. There's some pretty good incentives on 2013's right now since some 2014 models are not that far off. It's why I bought my 2012 Mustang last March, 2013's had just hit the lot and the '12 had a huge rebate plus my A-plan, couldn't pass it up.

Is it ok to discuss the prices we paid for our SHOs? I went to a dealer 3 hours away for what I thought was a great deal. Another dealer told me the pricing was below Ford Employee A- pricing and couldn't understand how the dealer could do that...and that I should buy it while the dealer was still being offered. I think it would be interesting to see how dealers compare.

From the AZDX plan website

AZ-Plan
• Ford
Dealer Invoice - Holdback - Advertising Assessment + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice)

• Lincoln (effective 1/10/11)
Dealer Invoice - Holdback - 2% of MSRP + Administration Fee*

D-Plan
• Ford
Dealer Invoice - Holdback - Advertising Assessment + Administration Fee* + $100 Advertising Surcharge (see sample invoice)

• Lincoln (effective 1/10/11)
o Dealer Invoice - Holdback - 2% of MSRP + Administration Fee* + $100 Advertising Surcharge

The way this reads, the only difference is the $100 Ad surcharge.

D-plan is for dealership personnel. X-Plan is more that either AZ or D plans. A/Z/D plans are based off of the formula above. X-Plan is based off of the invoice figure-local ad fees+ $100 Ad Surcharge. :salute:

Be careful what they dont tell you is that they used all the rebates to get to that price. With the X plan you get that price plus you can use the rebates. So if they match the x plan price take the rebates off the xplan price and you will be in a lot better shape. Dealers do not want to deal with any of these plans because they do not make as much money.

My sticker was 47450, I got the 4250 in rebates and they took off another 4961.94.

I'm seeing around $8-9K off MSRP on autotrader.com for new SHO's. A lot of them for around $37K ($45K MSRP). Of course they don't mention the rebates/discounts to get that price, but you would think it wouldn't be hard to get that price.

When will the 2014's show up on the lot? Summer?
