Here is the finished plasti-dipped SHO. The process took 2 days in total. Its better than wax (Protection wise), and cheaper than vinyl wrapping the SHO. The plasti-dipped should last for a long time, depending on the weather abuse. The project cost me $350 (4.5 gallons of plasti-dip (black to white conversion), electric sprayer, and 3M painters tape) (FYI do your own research on the materials to bring down the cost) Preparation was a breeze. No sanding required. Original paint was untouched. Overspray can be easily wipped off or peeled off when dried. On a closer look, the car will have a rough texture due to the plasti-dip.
