Is there any significant changes from the last year's models as far as mechanical and ECU tables?

The engine and powertrain is relatively the same. The ECU is different and the software we developed is totally different. Performance wise, the cars should run the same.

I'm assuming this is a Stage 1 type tune?? Since I'm too lazy to look it up (!!), how did it compare to the '10-'12 Stage 1?

This was comparable to our stage 4+ tune.

Dyno results on these cars vary a ton, but we expect the same results at the track.

My roommates shop was approached my the police captain? in the city his business is in and they are interested in getting a tune for their fleet. He is a car nut. Obviously durability here is more important than anything else. Will this tune for for their newly acquired car? I didn't know if the PO package had different software than the regular car.

We haven't seen a PO package car yet, but I would assume the computer is the same. We've never had durability issues in all of the years we've been tuning them and have a few cars in the low 12's in the 1/4 mile.

2013 SHO with Performance Pack

I traded in my 530xi for a 2013 SHO with Performance Pack.

This car exceeds all my expectations - although i have a few gripes about the myFord system. But overall, its a great car.

Does the Livernois Tune void the manufacturers warranty?

If the tune is responsible for the malfunction it can void your warranty. That said, I’ve never had an issues with the cars I’ve had tuned and if I did I’d keep bouncing around dealers until I found someone who would warranty it. Generally it’s going to be a big ticket item and (hopefully) someone will want the job (and be in good with their rep to get it covered).

Seems like a good use for tax dollars in the middle of a recession.

If you knew how the new chief came in and cleaned up waste and corruption to the extent that he has I doubt you would say the same thing. In just a couple years they have saved so much money that they have replaced nearly the entire fleet + replaced most of the officers day to day equipment AND revamped the dispatch center with all new equipment... and they are still left with a surplus. a few years ago they had none of those things and were in the red. I don't want to get off topic. I will contact the customer and see if he is interested in making a move. If he is my roommate will submit a application to become a dealer for livernoise

It usually depends on how you dealership feel about mods. Some will work with you, some won't... but in all of the years we've been tuning EcoBoost vehicles, we've never had a failure.

How is the testing going? Do you think you'll have a tune available to the public sometime in early July?

Going well! We can do local cars now, but won't be able to ship to mail order customers for a few more weeks.

We had our car at the track today and it was 100 degrees outside and it ran 13.4 @ 103. Our does not have PP. Another customer with our tune and a PP car ran 13.3. Everyone's ET's were way off because of the heat and humidity. As a reference, a customer with a 2010 with our 4+ tune and Airaid CAI went 13.3 @ 104.

E10b2002

Darreli, who has been 12.1 ran 12.6... so I think the 2013 is right on par with the 2010-12 cars.

I have a 2103 SHO, and i am ready to buy the tune for it. I have 1 silly question where do I find the strategy code. I have torque app and the Bluetooth dongle, can i get it from there or do i need to pull the ECM?

Also my car without the PP seams very sluggish off the line from 0 to about 20 MPH. then it is awesome. is that the Torque Management or the gearing of the car?

is there an ETA yet on when it will be available?

Thanks
Brad

I have a PP 2013 SHO.

I'm hesitant to do the upgrade. I was thinking about going up to stage 2.

I'm worried about the longevity of the vehicle and possible warranty issues.
Are there any cars here that have had the upgrade for many miles without issues?

Also, are there any estimates as to acceleration times and performance figures for a Stage 2 SHO with PP?

I'd be real happy if I could get the car down to 4.7-4.8 sec 0-60 time.

What would this take?
