They generally wouldn't have the right backspacing/offset to work anyways. Nor the bolt pattern.

Will the weight of the sho be alright on them, as somebody had concern for above?

It just sounded like Chad was speculating. No weight issues unless you get into the lighter-weight forged wheels (like Centerline, or even Racing Hart).

Discount and TR pretty much carry middle-of-the-road wheels, designed for many applications, and not exotic nor pricey (generally).

The LGT wagon weighs the same as a SHO (3520#s), and the wheels had no issues after a couple of years.

Got my SVT wheels/tires today. Drag 17x7.5" & Nitto NeoGen ZR 215/45/17.

I like those wheels Ron. Drag makes some nice looking ones. If i had seen those i might not have bought the ones i did.

As a non-SHO update, the Drags are on the car. New wheels are 1/2" wider. Obviously also a change in offsets, as they sit out more than a 1/2" of rim width would indicate. BUT, IMO, they fill the fenderwells better!

Also, 17x7.5 wheels, will +45 offset and 6.02" backspacing fit a gen 2? If so, I'm ordering sparco's for the 95.....begun the wheel ******* has.

Also getting a set of open ended metallic red lugs for it too......that is if the "ricer" shop, err I mean honda shop can get more than 16 to a set.....

Also, those will most likely be the last picture taken of the car with red calipers(god, I hate red calipers)......and any daylight thru the front wheels. :naughty:
