I could not pass up the deal and I always liked the wheels. What really pushed me to get them was the quest for fitting wider rubber.

The centers are all slightly different in color, with one being much lighter. I've read that bronze anodizing likes to fade, so I took them out for some powder coating. I also had the lips refinished as one of the wheels appears to have been cut by a grinder, which was probably Vadim's work.

I'm off today, so I will Power Ball/Cone the crap out of the aluminum and seal as the centers might be done by the weekend. We'll see how the finish product turns out!

They're going on the black 92. Shouldn't need a spacer, not one in that pic, just two piece rotors.

Here are a couple shots of the 17"x7.5" OZ Monte Carlo rims sprayed gunmetal on 235/45 Nexen 3000's. May have to say goodbye to these after an incident today.

What kind of incident?!? It better be a big one! Because i LIKE those rims.

The kind were you wheel almost flies off @ 60 mph.

Why would you want it to be a big incident? :swing:

I know they have a little curb rash, was like that upon receiving the car. Will one day have the rash repaired as long as the set is still good.

Those are now painted black on Jayro's moonlight blue 94 MTX on some Star Specs. They look pretty good in black, too. :)

16x7.5 with 225/50

Not a real good pic of them, but here you go.

sorry to hijack; does anybody have an idea were I could find center caps like the ones that VORTEX2450 has? I have the exact same wheels but in 16inch and I am missing a center cap, didn't have a clue of the style until know.
Pictures to come.
