Ok there have has been a set of 19x7.5 Centerline wheels up for sale locally for EVER! I mean going on 4 months now. I have been watching them for a long time now and the thought of buying them here within a couple weeks is starting to seem like a good idea. After doing some research I found out they are forged and only 12 pounds a piece!!! IIRC thats about 16 pounds difference between the slicers and that rotational weight.

I know I have seen these before on a certain orange gen 1 and a white gen1. The idea of 19's seems so BIG but they do look pretty good. What have you guys paid for these. What kind of offer should I throw out there ause He has had them for sale for 400$ for 2 months now. Is that reasonable for these? they have no curb rash and they are silver. (going to be black if I ever get them)

Buy em asap. It's a good looking wheel and pretty rare. Plus 19's is just ballin! Lol. Just watch out the sho weight just barely makes the weight limit for these wheels. Iow if u hit a big bump or just a nasty pothole they will bend! I know ur gutted but they will still bend.

They look like the team dynamics rims that everyones got. I would offer $325 to start just to see what he says.

Tires will cost a bunch! I suspect...

Holy crapola, I looked after I posted this for tires and they are stupid exspensive. For a set of tires its going to be upwards of 800-1000$. That alone makes me not want 19's.

They are great wheels but only if you have smooth roads and a light car.

Under 3000 lbs is the only way I would run them again. I have had two or three sets of those 19,s. They are a different spoke count than the TD's but similar design.

They orig retailed for around 350 each iirc.
Assuming they are straight, 400 is a steal. Buy them and I will trade you a set of 18 TDs for them.

They weigh 15.6 lbs, without the center cap. Digital USPS scale confirmed.

Yea $400 is a good price for those, and yes they are forged and top quality wheels. There's a guy (00midnightse - or something like that) who was trying hard to sell a polished silver set a few years back but could never get rid of them to my knowledge, he wanted $750 and I don't think he EVER mounted them to his slo, but I could be wrong.

At that price though, I'm skeptical, even though they're forged I've heard these wheels crack easily; NO I don't have personal experience I've jsut read online about them. I've read on other forums (VW, BMW, Volvo) about those wheels developing cracks. CHECK them thoroughly if/when you see them in person!!!

Only a few of many google results:

UPDATE: I been reading another classified he had up and he said One wheel has been cracked but has been repaired. No leaks at all and is true and will balance out perfectly. But from all the pictures the wheels look clean. No rash at all. Ill post pics

I thought about buying a set of the Centerlines, but I found out that the load limit for the wheels would easily exceeded by a stock weight SHO in hard corners. I went with OZ since they are much stronger and have a much higher load limit. I might consider them to use on a stripped and gutted SHO.

They do look good, but I would not use them on the sho due to the lo0ad limits.

There is a reason I'm ditching the 19" Brembo package wheels for 18" wheels... tires are stupid expensive for 19"s....

^ this is why I'm always on the lookout for 225/50-16's, decent footprint for an SHO, fits well in the ... well, sometimes can be bought for not too much $'s.

Another reason I'm uninterested in newer cars, wheels are getting bigger and more expensive. IE Dodge Caliper, 17" wheel, $200+ a pop! WTF???
