I read thru the owners manual and found nothing to say how to treat the suede inserts on the seats.

I suspect that regular leather treatment should not be applied to the inserts.

How are we to keep them clean and make them last?

Awesome machine, for sure!

Just wipe them down with a damp cloth if dirty. Nothing special to keep them clean.

My father spilled spaghetti sauce all over one of my back seats, it say there for two weeks. Brought it to the detailers and it came right out, i was impressed.

I was considering trying some of the suede shoe treatment products out there, I'm afraid that it's going to wear poorly over time.

Why don't some of you guys try that out and get back to me?:naughty:

It's not real suede, so keep that in mind if you use any products.

That's what I was thinking.....and hoping that the owner's manual would offer instructions for care......afraid a detail shop won't know either.
One thing's for sure.......they ARE comfortable

The back seat is all plastic, the only leather is the very small amount around the front seats. In a car that cost this much thanks for RIPING US OFF Ford.

Use Woolite, mix 5 parts water to one part Woolite in a spray bottle.Spray, wipe with a damp cloth then wipe with a dry cloth. Used this on my 03 Cobra that had Alcantra suede inserts ,sold the car last year and the seats looked like new.

Its the part of the Naugahound that falls off of the magical creature that is harvested for Fords Naugahide so its OK for animal rights as well. It can be cleaned with ****** tears. But seriously, I still hit mine with regular leather conditioner just because it smells like a high end leather store after I do it.

You may as well use the leather conditioner. Good luck finding a ****** in this day and age. :)
