A few shopower member went out last night for a fun eve of road course racing. It was a very good night temps were in the low 70s and there were only a total of 9 cars. At some points I had the whole track to myself. I took some great footage with my new cam. I have so far only uploaded one vid and it is of me running with a 2010 SHO. I was very shocked that from a roll he could not pull away on me!
Here is the vid make sure to watch it in 1080

Yes they were, I am quite happy about that myself. Figured someone would notice. BTW there were lots of times where 1st could have been called for but I just left it in 2nd.

FWIW, we've passed this vid around here among our organization as a "count how many things not to do" exercise. The number is pretty big.

I think this is a much better view. I just need to do some work to get the wind noise down.

For best results watch in 1080 :)

not sure if your camera supports it but I bought a powered mic from radio shack for around 20 bucks that you can bring inside the car or put in the engine bay or out back or where ever you want. it has a 5 foot wire i think so taping it behind a mirror or in the wiper cowl or on your dash would solve your wind issue for sure.

looks like you had a good time at the track. I really do enjoy listening to the yamahammer scream

My cam is completely self contained and sealed up. Its tiny and weighs 4oz so its too bad nothing can be added. But its still a great unit.

You can use clear silicone to put a one inch piece of soft foam in front of the mic. This will drastically reduce wind noise while still allowing sound to pass. it will look a bit goofy but the nice thing about silicone is it will come right off when you are done with it. Just a thought that would be really inexpensive to try.

I have some foam at work, and I was planning on covering it with the foam but I forgot to take it home. I will to this on the weekend and see how it works.
