Ok only reason I am putting this up for sale is to buy another SHO I'm looking at so I will entertain offers but no trades.

1992 Taurus SHO with 150,*** miles

-Black exterior with Black leather interior
-5 speed manual transmission
-clutch has around 25,000 on it
- Jose SHOrty shifter
- White face gauges
- performance plus aftermarket high flow y-pipe w/ high flow cats
- magnaflow 18" resonator
- flowmaster dual exhaust
-5% legal NJ tint (front windshield sun strip tinted as well)
-brand new headlights and clear corners
- Smoked GTS headlight covers
-VHT nightshaded taillights (2 light coatings)

I am selling this car because I need the cash to buy another SHO I'm looking at. I put a lot of hard work into this car myself. When I first got the car it had a grey interior, I did the entire interior swap myself including the dashboard. I know I am forgetting some stuff but come give me a call or come check it out in person.

The biggest problem it has which I don't find to be too bad is its burning some oil. From what we've concluded its either the piston o-rings sticking or the valve stem seals. I'm going to try some engine cleaners and hopefully that will take care of some of it.

Also right before I parked it for the winter the brakes went out so you can see it start up and move but I won't be able to give you a full test-ride just yet until I get them fixed. You can also just buy the car with the brakes not fixed and I will drop the price accordingly.

I also have a set of eibachs I can trow in along with an extra set of slicers and some random sho parts like intake and stuff.

I'm digging the leather racaro racing buckets! Nice looking SHO!

Thank you, That is also another thing I forgot to mention in the ad. those do not come with the car, I would want too much for them if you really wanted them, the car comes with the stock black leather seats, driver power, pass. manual.

Looks good, Justin. I didn't think you were going to sell this SHO?

What about rust? Suspension? Engine maintenance?

How is the paint? The pictures kind of mess with it, in some place's it looks really deep and shinny. Other pictures it looks a little dull and fadded ( like the bumpers )

yeah I wasn't planning on it, like most people. however its only to buy another one. :nut:

no rust where it counts, (dime size on roof, that's it).
stock suspension however I have eibachs I can throw in like i said.
its gonna need a 60k down the road. still runs strong now though.

paint is one of those "looks great from 10 feet away!" but when you get up close, a little part around the "24vDOHC" embem is fading, not really fading anywhere else however on the hood and bumper there are these little "chip" looking things, however they aren't chips because they are behind the clearcoat. its weird you would have to see it in person to understand. however with a good waxing paint looks very acceptable.
