Free parts anyone ?

One of my customers who works at a body\repair shop called me earlier today and said that they now own a Gen II SHO, after a customer had left it there without paying for a certain amount of time or something to that effect. He has invited me to come to the shop and basically grab whatever I wanted off of it becuase it will be going to the crusher by THIS FRIDAY 12\10.

I have not seen it and this is what I have been told about it:
Green\Beige (I know) 92' MTX with some front end damage, needed a clutch.
That's all I know. The shop is about 15 minutes away from my house in Tolland CT. If anyone is interested I will be going this Thursday, you can meet me at my house in Ellington which is about 10 minutes off of I84.

Damn it, I wish you could read. It has a mocha interior.




The drivetrain is the most useful thing in it. Too bad you can't have the car towed to your house to take everything out before it gets crushed.

Look for go-fast parts. Suspension goodies, exhaust, intake... I'd say pull the MTX and subframe, but that's a lot of work.

It's too bad that it's gotta go by Friday. I'd come down next weekend if he would hold on to it a little longer.

me too, i could grab the whole thing if it was a week later, if it has any mint slicers i'd would stop by your house next weekend if you would be willing to pull them.

And you can get the header panel from any gen 2 SHO, or Sable.

I contacted Kirk about it, I'm hoping he will meet me there on Thursday. Realistically I can only take what I can fit in my car and remove with basic hand tools, I hope Kirk will show up and if it's worth it maybe he will just haul it off to his shop.

Also just wanted to put out there that this is\was an invitation for someone(s) to go with me and remove parts. NOT for me to get parts off and distribute them to whomever wants them. I will however grab anything I can that is in good\useable condition. If someone from NESHOC needs something specific let me know (PM) and I will do my best.

Unfortunatley most everything was shot, Due to it having a "junk" title the vehicle could not leave the premise. The previous owner must have ravaged it pretty good before it left for the yard. Took a few things like a "yamaha" badge, he had a "hot air" cone type K&N that I took, MAF and all, and also an "SHO" hood bra. Also if I were able to remove the trans, and for some reason didn't keep it for myself, frosho would get it.
