Yeah, it can be done, but you're looking at paying a pretty penny there bud. From what the folks have said about the small bit of gains it may offer, the price to do it may not be feasible. Welcome aboard too.

I'm not sure that the gear change WOULDN'T make a difference. I'm .3 quicker than Livernois car with the same tune. Only differences being my "cai" and the perf package. I really don't think the intake makes much power, so I think the gearing does make a difference. I'm thinking about stepping up to the non-sho gearing myself

Install smaller/ lighter wheels and tires. I am running 255-45-18 Conti Extreme DW's on my EB Brick (2" shorter), and I cut 60 lbs of unsprung weight, plus my axle ratio jumped 8% from the stock 3.16 to around 3.40. So far.... gas mileage is up! (Unexpected surprise!) They are XL tires so have higher load rating than stock, and are a bit stiffer,
but handling is unbelieveably better than RS-A's. Lowering springs on order.

Waiting for a cool Fri. nite to do my drag test!

Newad, I think I posted something about adding the performance package in the other thread. IMHO there are better options for a similar or cheaper price. To change the overall drive ratio, I'm pretty sure the trans has to be removed and reinstalled. That's where the price will come in. You should still be able to have a functioning adaptive cruise, i can't see why you wouldn't.

As far as warranty goes, if you get your car tuned and you later have issues with your nav, Ford would be hard presses to tie the two together. The Magnussen (sp?) Act says that whatever you did, changed, etc. Has to cause the failure for them to void a warranty.

Look at spending a couple grand I'm pretty sure for the tranny upgrade. As far as brakes go, seems like only upgraded pads are available as of now. Keep us posted on what Ford says about the price. I forget how much it was to add to the car when ordering,(I think $995 for that option) but it won't be that cheap now for sure.
