You must work at Bergey's. I just looked at your profile - says you're a service advisor. One of my family members works there.....

You would be correct...i get a lot of shit for driving a Ford to a GM dealer...its all good though. Whats the persons name who works there?

I am in Jersey and it takes me about a half hour to get over the bridge into Philly so I would be down for a PA meet as well.

I'm thinking sometime this fall. But it is not up to me - let's all get our heads together and If someone has a better place for a meet - I'm up for that too.

For years we used to have monthly meetings where attendance varied. If memory serves it was the 2nd(?) Sunday of every month - at Fisher's, at what is now the Great American Cafe, at Nifty Fifty's.

Lots of folks sold their SHOs. Some friends continued to join us with their new toys, others left the group.

Back in the day I had SHO Classes added at several car shows that we would attend yearly, we also played at the drag strip & auto-x and had a summer picnic.

Somewhere along the line folks threw out suggestions - move the meeting place around, change the day, change the frequency, among other things. Unfortunately nothing happened. Since no one else facilitated the changes, I chose not to continue to play Julie the Cruise Director and sadly everything stopped.

At this point, aside from Carlisle, there is a well attended meeting in January in King of Prussia and nothing else.

A few people have offered to take over the website and bring it up to date, (Gzimi / Rayjay) but I do not host the original pages. I've asked for the files, but honestly I have not had the time to chase it.

LSHOC is alive and well in the hearts of some. It just needs folks who can devote mind and time and not just make suggestions. =) It seems like we have plenty of interest here.

Sooooo - when and where is our next meeting?

I'd take over the job of Julie the Cruise Director, but unfortunately my work schedule is so erratic it would be irresponsible of me to try it. If might go good, but then I might be gone for awhile and I wouldn't get any planning done and that would be beneficial to nobody. If anyone here in the PA area has the time and dedication to lead Liberty Sho Club into a new era, please step forward and let Terri pass the torch to you - if Terri wants to that is.

Anyway -details on the meet in KOP please - that's like 20 mins from me!

Watching this thread and would be up for a meet nearby. KOP counts as nearby.
Even though I have the 3.2 upgrade, the SHO still makes me giggle.
BTW, how about a mod meet? I know a few SHO's nearby that need help...

No one is stepping up and I know most of you so'll I'll set up the first meet.

What month works best for you guys?

Would you prefer beginning of sept, end of sept or beginning of october end of october?

Also is a saturday of sunday best for most people.

Anyone want to throw idea's out there, movie, just a lunch, tech meet anything.

Lets get this rolling!

Sat or Sunday good for me. Still don't have the sho done yet - noooo time. Driving a damn big rig around all day wishing it was my sho. Have to do : the oil pan gasket - intake/valve cover gaskets - and put all of the stuff back on the side of the motor - pulleys, timing covers blah blah blah. It does run good though - just gotta finish her up.
