I spotted it this morning driving around and took a few pics for everyone's enjoyment. It's a nice color to say the least.

The guy I bought my 89 from a few years ago, was selling it because he bought a 96, and it was this colour.
At the time, I thought he had a lot of courage.

I almost saved one that color that was in a JY but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I came out to my SHO after work several years ago and there was a Rose Mist sitting next to my car. I pointed out a few items about the car to my co-workers how I knew it was a 96 model. They thought I was a total dork for knowing those things.

99s have specific wheels. Interior wise the colors are different too.

Ok... I know the diffs from 96-97 and 97-98. But how do I determine a '99?

The most notable differences for the '99s are on the inside of the car really. Outside the wheels are shared with the regular Taurus line, as was mentioned above by NebraskaSHO.

I still think the Rose Mist was an ugly color. Medium Graphite though, that's the one they should have kept around.
I thought we all agreed they are pretty much the exact same color? :nut:

I think White, silver, black and red were the best though.

I have seen both. Medium Graphite is a much nicer color IMHO than that purple **** color on the RM's. Again, just in my opinion.

I just got my Certificate from Ford today. It said 58 made, FWIW.

FWIW - I've got a Charcoal gray, too. I much prefer that color, but I just can't argue with the rarity of 58 cars total.

That is 1965 Shelby GT 350 R rare.
