It's that time of year again!

Kirk will provide the final details, but expect that we'll probably be leaving Spencer in the early hours of Sunday July 11th (probably around 4 or 5 AM). It's about a 12 hour drive.

I think the list from our area this year will be short, but if you plan on joining us in Spencer or along the way, this is the place to let us know.

Leaving from Spensah/East Brookfield.
1. Kirk
2. Chris A.
3. James P.
4. Bab
5. Fro
6. Tim J.

Meeting us along the way:
7. Chris P. (I-90 Blandford Service Plaza)
8. John H. (I-90 Blandford Service Plaza)

Anyone else just chime in and I'll addya to the list...

Looking like a pretty good caravan. I'm sad that Ian won't be driving with us.

Hey Mr. A.
Jon and I will be leaving from Albany area early MONDAY morning.
By my calculations, we should overtake your caravan near Utica. Ha.

Would be cool to hook up with you guys maybe west of Springfeild on 90, thinking that rest stop that is most of the way up that mountain (are you heading that way or down 84?) also will we cut through Canada?

I am 80% sure I'm going - have a hotel room but need to send Don the form.

Word is passports are only taking about 2 weeks to process. I would need to renew mine. Think Kirk said it shaves over an hour (maybe more, can;t remember) to cut through Canada.

I'm in for the caravan. Chris (SHOclass) wanted to get in on it too. He's further out west though, so he may want to join us somewhere after we leave Spencer.

Did Babs bail out? I don't see his name on that list.

Canada may be opposed to my crossing the border...

You can easily lose an hour or more between the two border crossings.

SHOclass, maybe the rest stop on 90 west of Springfield would be a better meeting place, this way everyone south/west of Spencer could collect there. Just a thought anyway I will find the name of that rest stop.

I think that one is the Ludlow rest stop (after exit 7). That would be just fine, whatever is easier for everyone. I'm about 10 minutes away from that one anyway.

I'm going that route but on Monday. I'm hoping to leave here about 7am so I'll be at the 401/416 area by 7:40am. Not sure if I'll cross at Sarnia or Windsor.

Marcel reminded me when we talked last night that it took him 3 hours in line to cross the border heading home from Nashua last year. Apparently weekends during the summer can be brutal so it's just as well we're staying in the land of the good brakleen and bad advil...

That's a relief, maybe Mr. Anonymous can edit the first post and make it into a list of people who have confirmed.

Can you edit the same post multiple times ?
