$150 is kind of high for used Magnaflow Y pipe with bad cats. Be sure every bit of ceramic is out of their or you will suck it into the engine on a downshift and destroy it.

You can scrap the converters for decent $ at most recycling centers.

here is my job i did on the y pipe. i gutted the cats.

aftermarket converters arent worth shit.. Just leave the pipe as is and punch'em out..

i cut the converter open and removed the insides and left the converter

I did the exact same thing on my 95 mtx and it worked great. Still use it =)
