Bought a 1990 5 speed with 104k miles on it about a month ago and I notice stumbling/surging under steady throttle at low speeds, mainly when I am driving in my neighborhood around 10-20 mph. I'm pretty sure its due for a 60/120k maintenece because the previous owner didn't know when it had been done last. I'm going to check the codes on it this weekend when I have the chance. I'm assuming its bad plugs, any other simple things it could be? I'll probably clean the MAF this weekend just for good measure.

And on an unrelated note.... god, I love this car!

If none of the 60K mile tune-ups have been done, get those out of the way first.

If you do the tune-ups, you can rule out a lot of things.

My friends car (CWhalenSHO) had a similar problem. Had a bad DIS.
