I'm thinking of getting some black rims for my white SHO. Looking into the big names (HRE, CCW, BBS, etc). Has anyone put aftermarket wheels on their car, and if so, can you post pics? Thanks.

The new SHO shares the same bolt pattern and close enough offset to the '05+ Mustangs (5x114.5mm or 5x4.5") so it should be easy to find new rims for it. You just have to make sure your overall diameter with the tires is as close as you can get to the factory size (like +/-0.2mm dia) to get the right speed and odometer read outs.. You can find the overall dia on tire rack if you look under the specs of the factory tires.

Well here is a ?? do all 4 tires need to be the same diameter? because of the AWD. I know my Sy did otherwise it grenade the drivetrain.

Yes, definitely. You will wear out the clutches to the rear drive very quickly if you put larger tires on the back than in the front or visa-versa. It's always a good idea to stay as close to the stock overall diameter as possible for the drivetrain to function properly and give you as much performance as possible. The engineers spent a lot of time choosing the gear ratios and other drivetrain components so that they are optimized with the factory tire diameter and engine.

I got these from WheelsNext.com They got a shipload of wheels to select from, but they take forever to get to your door. I got these for my Blizzaks, I like the stock ones for the summer.

What size are they? They look pretty small for some reason.

The wheels are 18", but the tires are the exact same circumference as the stock Michelins, they are 225/60HR18 I know, they do look smaller though.

I guess it's personal preference. IMO, 22s are pushing the envelope... I'm not a big fan of that look. You'd have to go with a 30 sidewall and I believe your ride then would be greatly compromised. I got 20s, but the Taurus is designed with huge wheel well openings so it doesn't look bad. When I watch shows like Overhaulin' and they put 20"ers on a old muscle car, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
