yeah id like to meet in tennesee its between kentuky and georgia. maybe easier because people may not have to drive as far

If that becomes the case... I already got huge place to park right off Interstate 40. No need wait for a place to become "available".

Nothing yet, havent heard anything. I'm going to give it till mid Feb, if nothing then I guess we will just use this section for our stuff. Until we get noticed anyways. If you guys were interested in a meet, would you want it early to mid March or early to mid April? Or another time. Just trying to throw out ideas.

I live in the chattanooga area. I'd be down for a SHO meet, or something. There just aren't that many SHO's down here. I used to see a ton of them in Mass, down here everyone has stupid V-6 mustangs. People need the FWD in the snow up north, down here you can drive whatever crap you got.

I trying to see what would be the best place, I've got Northern Georgia and Kentucky people along with TN people spread across. I say the Nashville area because it sounds in the middle of it all, and I know March 8th the Tennessee regional SCCA club is meeting at Nashville speedway for autocross, I just dont know how to join or I believe you can just run by showing up. I'm not sure what you guys want to get done for the first day. So any ideas on stuff to do, or any better ideas on places to meet, or better time/date to meet. thanks

Yes on the timing. We need enough time to make plans, but not too much time that it is "forgotten".

My personal problem with time, I am involved with family every other weekend that is difficult for me to get out of unless a lot of lead time. I'm currently working on my 2010 race schedule which I have rearranged my schedule up and through October 2010 and I am even looking at the first event of 2011.

As it pertains to motorsports events here in central Kentucky, they ain't none. If it doesn't have anything to do with a horse, then you are just SOL.

Well I was trying to get a couple other ideas of stuff to do. I don't really know if we could run at that scca track day. It might be something we could do with a little planning. Any ideas on stuff to do, Nashville isn't a one horse town, but it isn't Orlando either. Hey zach what spring/strut combo are you running? And what do you race in sho_sc

I do Land Speed Racing. I race both my SHO and my motorcycles. However, as my sign states, my SHO has been barred from the East Coast venues for going "too fast" (way above my speed tech). So there will be no racing with it this year, but I am racing my Hayabusa and possibily my EX-500.

The race SHO is "street legal" and when weather permits, I do drive it to work at least once a week, a 52 mile Interstate trip (26 mile one-way). However, with the ride quality and the fact that it has a aluminium race seat, it becomes very uncomfortable when you drive it more than a couple of hours.

I also am in the mist of redesigning intake track to accept a slot style MAF, but I do have it safe to drive on the street as long as I don't get the RPMs above 5000.

i dunno? i know they have a couple ford meets/shows down there in the summer and fall i think. but i dont know if thats when they did the sho meet before or not. I didnt go, but my dad usually hits the ford ones there. It usually lasts from like fri-sun i thnk. i always ask if he sees any sho's, but he hasn't as of yet. just sayin, if girls are allowed, lol, and they arrange another meet i'd love to go.
