I do Land Speed Racing. I race both my SHO and my motorcycles. However, as my sign states, my SHO has been barred from the East Coast venues for going "too fast" (way above my speed tech). So there will be no racing with it this year, but I am racing my Hayabusa and possibily my EX-500.
The race SHO is "street legal" and when weather permits, I do drive it to work at least once a week, a 52 mile Interstate trip (26 mile one-way). However, with the ride quality and the fact that it has a aluminium race seat, it becomes very uncomfortable when you drive it more than a couple of hours.
I also am in the mist of redesigning intake track to accept a slot style MAF, but I do have it safe to drive on the street as long as I don't get the RPMs above 5000.
