With the Silver paint it doesn't look as dramatics as Kirks, but still looks good.

Think it was one of those Tauri from SEMA, think it was SEMA, had "T A U R U S" across the back, but it was in the concave part, looked pretty slick. Kudos for doing something different though :salute:

You know, when I had them all off and was putting them back on, I thought the same damn thing. But, then I look at the previous Gen 3s I have had and all of them I hated having body colored emblems. So, I did the lettering a different color on them. So someone else now please body color some badges and post pics before I go and spend more money. :nut:

turned out great..personally would've removed all the emblems off the back

They were all off for a few days, but I don't know. It looked too plain since it was so big. Kinda like a truck tailgate.

Yeah, Kirk's red one does look bad ass. And probably the only color that would stand out the most out of any of them.

And just a quick note, I HATE my damn tinted headlights now. It makes the HIDs look like regular lights now. Even with the high beams on, no one flashes me back. I didn't realize it was going to be that drastic of a change, but I'm gonna roll with them for now. But if any of you are up in the air about tinting, painting, etc and are concerned about how the light output is with them on, it SUCKS!!

I was on the fence because of just what you said. I like the way it would look, but I don't want to compromise the candlepower output. Thanks for the heads up.

****, you know im full of joy right? :) I was biting my tounge when you did that! HOW COULD YOU SPRAY PAINT THE 1200.00 a peice lights! ahhhhhhhhhhh!

I like that look, but I would have waited untill Yang Foo makes some knock offs. LOL

I like the silver look like that! in a big way. Thanks for the red comments I like it too but I still wish that they made it in REAL RED..... Not a huge fan of these off colors. atleast Silver is silver.. Also I wish they made it in real black, not the flaked color. Still like it but if you look at say Ian Macoombs gen 3 and Chris A's there not even in the same feild for looking bad ass.

The Blue has got to be the worst color though! why not Midnight Blue or Sonic Blue? again! aahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I have spoken to the paint engineers about this along with the head of marketing and I think the answer that I got was just a cop out. Great guys just from my perspective the answer was weak.

Real Red
Real Black
A Nice Blue
lighten the green a bit
loose the Chestnut!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh and a real white! not a pearl white.

Silver is the only color IMO that they did right by.

I forgot about the letters, Chrome and silver are close, I like what you did! a ton and I also like Bills badge delete too..

Im going to pull mine today to figure out what I want to do, body color sounds good as its the SHO way. but back in 2000 when I changed from the white letters on my white car to black it looked fantastic! and I started the color change on the backs of those cars. thats why all the badges are gone.

This car has the huge trunk like you said, so I am stumped for a bit.. The spaced out TAURUS is fuvking fantastic!

The "Yang Foo" quote made me about blow coffee out of my nose!! Holy crap that's some funny stuff right there. It's a matter of time before they do create a new headlight for us. Wonder what it'll cost in Yen?? And after seeing Terry's lights tinted, I was really digging it. His doesn't look as dark as mine, but his is sprayed and there is no going back now. The price tag scared the **** out of me also. I wanted to be able to take it back to OEM if need be cause I was always getting pulled in my '92 SHO with covers on 'em. Plus, inspections here in VA may pose a problem too. Glad you like the way it looks, as we may have started something that Ford may take into consideration for the next up coming SHOs huh?

I agree, there weren't any color choices that really stood out. I ended up with Tuxedo Black by process of elimination. I would have gotten the red, but it needs to be clean and in bright sunlight for it to appeal to me. Like you said, it needed to be a "real" candy. I would have gone with white if the stone interior was available. I've mentioned this before, but a black cherry or a similar blue would have been nice instead of the Atlantis Green. I never considered Ingot Silver because I hated silver back in the 80's when every car was silver, but I really like it.

Color changes and Mods are a hard thing to do and make look right! Silver is a hard car to do but when done right it looks fantastic!

Two of my favorite cars are Chris Andretta's Gen 3 and A silver Gen 2 from Jersey that had the SVT wheels (girl in car made it better).

Too much of one color is a bad thing, you need something standing out. You need to pick a color that goes with your color and add it is slightly and subtly.

Even too much black looks wrong, red and orange are great colors or a black car. (im partial to red and black) BILLY!!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing you're talking about someone creating some cheaper set of headlights huh?

When will the 2011's be coming off the line....or will it be a midyear change?

That "candy" blue looks really nice Kirk. What I really like about it is the grille. Can you just delete the argent bars altogether? Some day, I'll get around to painting mine. Like you said though, too much black doesn't look right, I'd leave the chrome and just paint the argent bars on mine. f150fan, I'd be surprised if Ford made any changes at all in the 2011 SHO. But then again, I think Ford is going to be full of surprises from now on.
