OK guys, got the title from one of the other "silver" SHO owners. I figured it sounded appropriate. :woo-hoo: Got my parts back from the paint shop tonight, and boy do they look purdy! Not including my badging came in today too from Ford and my headlights are smoked now. Some of its done already to the car, but I couldn't get any good pics in my garage due to my crappy camera. Here are a couple pics to tide you guys over until tomorrow when I can get it re-assembled and in the daylight for it's proper pics. Let me know what you think.

The parts look great. I like it when people step out and do things different. It give's every one something to think about. That is what car people are all about.

Quick update guys. No good pics...yet. Car is all done and it looks superb. Shoulda blacked out the TAURUS in the fender vents, but didn't wanna copy Kirk. :nut: Rear trunk deck looks killer too, as this will be the first of its kind, well, kinda. :naughty: Tomorrow I'll get good pics since I'm working half a day and will be able to test the new CAI also. This getting off of work when it's dark normally really sucks! Be patient fellas, I'll keep you posted. :munch: You won't be disappointed.

You already did copy me, so? I like seeing what I do on other cars. :woo-hoo:

I'm wondering if you take some clear and tint it with black and then paint the argent bars on the grille if that would kinda look like black chrome? The problem I can foresee is diluting the black would make it brown.

I'm really diggin' the front end. The rear, not so much... I'd have ditched the TAURUS and put the SHO off to the side. But, to each his own. :thumb:

****,
As the title originator, you just made TEAM SILVER Best in Class and I mean class as in classy!
That is VERY well done and you can tell you wife the team thinks it was worth it.

Nice work on the rear badging...did you split the EcoBoost SHO badge like I did ?

Why not have your life story on the back in badging as well?

I like the Taurus spread out like that, actually. But the SHO spread directly underneath is too much. You should keep the Taurus as is and condense the SHO badge to the upper right corner of the rear...

And the problem with spreading out the badging is that you can almost always see the imperfections if you look closely. Your 2nd U is off...

Looks GREAT all around!! Nice Job!
on the rear the S H O is perfect, centered as is, just like the Gen1/2 S H O embossed in the rear bumper.
The TAURUS letters could of been body color too thou.

That could be a possibility one day.

Yup, I split a brand new one from Ford. I was afraid it was gonna break and that's why I tried the one off the trunk the first time to make sure it was gonna be easy to manipulate. And you just told the wife for me. ;)

****,
I agree, a very nice job! I like everything you've done. :hail:

Thanks Mike!

Think it'll fit or can I borrow your Caddy's trunk for a sec??:nut:

I think it was the angle. I'll look again, as I had the trunk deck taped up like a house blueprint. Plus, I also curved the lettering around since the trunk was concave. But if you're looking at my ass that closely, we have problems.

Great work on the front. It really looks tremendous and making me think about doing something similar. I do have to agree with some about the rear lettering. Definately not my taste. I think what would look great is no badging at all on the back. Zip. Or the other silver car on here with the Taurus and the small SHO under it. That is great IMO. Nice work on the rest however!

I really like it :thumb: Front end is $$$ in the bank :salute:

I like the rear but if it were mine I think it would remove the TAURUS across the back and leave the SHO letters in the same position you have them in but paint them body colored.
