Monroe Sensa-tracs plus inatrax ?

i was wondering if anyone is running Monroe Sensa-tracs plus inatrax lowering springs? i just got all four struts through rock auto for 160.00 with rebate (i think that was a steal), and was wondering what is a good setup with wanting to go lower than oem? and please no dumb remarks such as " should of went with koni's" sorry but im not wipeing my rear with 100 dollar bills here. any helpfull advice appreciated

They must not have that wholesaler closeout price anymore. A few of us got in on that; $31.99 per corner, with 5% off with the Rock Auto discount code, and then an additional $80 back from Monroe with a rebate they had running. Worked out to just under $12 per corner, plus shipping.

On your spring choice... I don't know that the SensaTrac's will be able to handle the Intrax's spring rate. FWIW, many people, myself included, run SensaTrac's with Eibach springs with really good results.

X2... Intrax will make quick work of those struts. Eibach or cut the stockers.

Let's see, Eibach, doesn't lower your car per say! But it comes down an 1' in the front and an .5" in the back, and if you if you cut the coil maybe half inch!

I originally ran KYB with the MOOG CC's. That was the worst strut I had ever had...they were gone in 10k.

So Eibach is pointless for lowering, unless you want to get out the hack saw. And if you do that, should you mite as well just put in inatrax? And I hera kyb wear quickly, but that is what I read in the forum when I used the search button

yea, eibachs lower your car pretty well, and even more if you cut them. For a daily driver or street car eibachs are the best choice.

Eibach's aren't made to lower, there sport springs they lower the car alittle bit. It drops them but just an inch in front and a half in back!

Those look like the std KYBs. I had the KYB GR2s with Eibachs on my '94. The rears were fine, but the fronts were too soft after I put about 500 miles on 'em.

Technically if you wanna be Mr smartypants about it.... . Intrax are also Progressive springs.... same difference as Eibachs.. .they just have a higher spring rate, and drop it another 1/2" front and rear....

LOWERS VEHICLE... lol how can you say they're not lowering springs? They have the "sportline" line... but never sold them for our cars. Same idea, just a little lower. So I guess you have to lower the car more than an inch before they are called lowering springs?
