If you're using a typical dry setup like Zex, a wideband might be a good idea. If you can make a couple runs on a dyno to make sure that your a/f ratio is okay, you will be fine. On stock programming you should be fine.
No guages are REQUIRED when using nitrous oxide. The useful ones however are oil pressure (on ALL cars), water temp, and with n2o bottle pressureis useful but not necessary at all.
